Cosmetic tattoo
What is Cosmetic Tattoo?
Cosmetic Tattooing is a tattoo! With a chosen technique, we are implementing pigment into the upper layer of the skin using a machine or handheld tool. Tattooing in this fashion allows your skin to heal and fade the pigment over time resulting in a completely natural look. The results vary for each client with their skin type, aftercare, lifestyle, and health. After the initial procedure, the healing period will be about 7-14 days. Over the course of the 6-8 weeks, which is a skin’s natural cycle, the pigment will fade, soften, and lighten 40-60%. It’s the perfect service for those that want to wake up and go!
Every session is started with a full consultation where we will map, measure, sand shape your brows to your natural bone structure and desired goal. We will also go over pigment options and aftercare!
Lip blushing
Lip Blushing, what is it? This is a cosmetic tattoo service to enhance your natural lips. Your shape, color, tone.
Using a machine, we tattoo into the lip tissue creating pixels. These pixels begin to build up color and contrast into the lips as we do our passes. The color saturation can help camouflage pigment loss, uneven borders, or overall just give you a pop of color into the lips! My favorite client quote, “it looks like I bit my lips, giving them that fresh flush of pink in them.” This was so fun for her as she experienced pigment loss in the corners and borders of her lips. Discomfort during the procedure is minimal, as I do numb you with a topical anesthetic. Swelling can occur and typically subsides within the first 24 hours. The down time? Easy! It takes approximately 7 days to get through the healing process which can include sloughing and pigment fading/lightening 40-60%. Throughout the 6-8 week skin cycle, the pigment will continue to bloom and if a touch up is needed, we can saturate those lips more. I send you home with an aftercare kit and all of the tools/information at your fingertips.
It’s an extremely versatile service in the way that we can do a light lip tint, or even something a little brighter! After consulting on your goals, mapping out your lips, and choosing a custom pigment color, you’ll be able to just throw on some lip gloss and go! Smudge proof, kiss proof, waterproof lips.
Powdered Ombré Brow Technique
With the use of a specialized tattoo machine and needle set up, I whip back and forth throughout the brow creating a pixel pattern. Building up these pixels creates a shadow or powder like effect through the brow. This is crucial in creating dimension and density throughout a sparse brow. This technique can also be used to create a bolder, yet soft and natural, makeup like brow or a faint shadow on the skin. The diversity of this tattooing method is my favorite. You can create something that heals light, airy, and soft. Or you can create a fuller, denser, more contrasted brow.
Nano-strokes & combination Technique
Nano-strokes are performed using a handheld tool with a rotary tattoo machine and a very fine needle set up. This implements pigment in a stroke-like pattern and every hair stroke is completely custom to you. We can really achieve a natural, crisp, and fluffy brow with the use of nano-strokes. We will go over all of the technique options that best suit you at your appointment! We want to make sure the pigment fades naturally overtime with no muddiness, so that we can properly touch them up in a 1-3 years! This technique and powdered ombré/pixelation come together in a beautiful combination. The two techniques really compliment each other! While you are still getting the natural hair strokes, we are also creating dimension and shadowing with pixelation.
