LASH AND BROW LAMINATION
What is a lamination?
The science behind lamination is some of my favorite. We start with a solution that takes apart the Disulfide Bonds within each individual hair. These bonds are responsible for the mechanical stability and strength of hair fiber. Doing this makes the hair malleable, so that we may form it into our desired look. For lashes, that is pulling them up onto a silicone rod to create an uplifted curl. For brows, this is pulling the hair up against the skin to create a fuller looking brow. Once we use our second solution to set the hair, these bonds are reformed, which is what gives the hold in the hair. I use a product line that actually packs tons of nutrients and moisture into the hair while processing, so that you are not left with dry hair!
Why would i want brow or lash lamination?
For lashes, maybe you are tired of using a lash curler everyday and the curl not holding until the end of the night! Maybe you have lashes that grow downwards or do not have a natural curl. Lash Lamination is so versatile because we can mimic the effect of fuller, longer looking lashes by just lifting them. Plus, at home metal lash curlers can cause damage and cut lashes if you aren’t careful! It’s also a service that is fully customizable and catered to each individual client, lash type, and hair color.
For brows, you can ditch the everyday brow gel. Think of this as taking place of that. With brow lamination, you can still style your brows to your liking everyday, while they maintain hold. Once the hair is laminated and pulled up against the skin, we can mimic a fluffier brow, a fuller brow, a more open arch, and SO much more! I have done thin brows to thick naturally fluffy brows and lamination just helps enhance your natural features that much more! This service is also very much catered to your personal style and liking.
Lamination aftercare
We will thoroughly go over aftercare post service, but these are the basics! Remember: hair is still setting in for the 24-48 hour post service period, so it’s VERY important that you follow these steps!
