What is a waxing service like at Desert Palette?
Every waxing service begins with a cleanse of the area to remove any dead skill cell build up, makeup, or oils. I specialize in facial waxing, so cleansing is always a must! Once we finish prepping the skin, we will discuss exactly what you are looking for! A quick waxing session, with a soothing result with my favorite post epilation oil by Comfort Zone. All aftercare will be discussed at the time of the appointment! Please be sure to avoid exfoliants and harsh cleansers or heavy comedogenic makeup products after your service.
What is different about my brow wax service?
Brows were truly my first love and the service where I can express my passion for art. I approach every set based on your existing follicle growth, your natural bone structure, and growth pattern. After cleansing the brow area, I always dive into mapping. This includes creating small lines with mapping thread on the face to be able to measure and compare how both brows grow and to compare symmetry. Brows are sisters, not twins, but I will enhance your brows in the best natural way possible. After we map out your bone structure and where your growth pattern falls within these lines, we can get into the waxing portion. At the end of the epilation, I begin trimming along your brow growth pattern. This ensures that the hair will lay naturally, avoiding chunky cut brows! The clean and refreshed look provides a true contrast between skin and hair shadow, which can really give you the boost to your brow confidence that you are looking for.
